* * * GREAT, NOW LET'S DOUBLE-CHECK * * * Okay now, start up and run AVG Free
Once started, click on "Scan Computer" and wait until AVG has finished scanning. You should let it scan your entire hard disk for viruses. If it does find a virus or five, move them into the virus vault or delete virus infected files. AVG will search your entire drive ( usually oldest files first ). Make sure you let it scan all the way through so it scans all of your new files too. Once AVG has finished scanning you can move on to the next step.
