Taking a walk along the street one can see that the mess is everywhere. It seems not a single bin has been emptied into the truck but much of it has ended up in the street said local resident Peter Killackey.

We spoke to the recycle man (who comes through after the rubbish man) and he told us it was the rubbish man that has done that and he's also done the same over the other side of town as well. He told me he had reported the mess to council and that I should do the same.

I then spoke to the council this morning and they said they would send him back. At 2pm he had still not arrived.

Pointing to an abandoned home, Mr Killackey points out that this was left clean by the previous tenants but is now a mess created from other resident's bins.

If you threw rubbish over the road you would be subject to a $5,000 fine per infringement, why is the rubbish removal company not subject to the same penalty? said Mr Killackey.
