| To Cut, Copy, Paste, or Delete
To Cut Text so you can move it to another location, select the text, and then on the Edit menu, click Cut. This will remove the selected text from the document and copy it into the computer's RAM ready for you to paste elsewhere.
To Copy Text so you can paste it in another location, select the text, and then on the Edit menu, click Copy. This will copy the selected text into the computer's RAM ready for you to paste elsewhere.
To Paste Text you have cut or copied, place the cursor where you want to paste the text, and then on the Edit menu, click Paste.

To Delete Text, select it, and then on the Edit menu, click Delete. This will delete the selected text entirely without putting it into the RAM at all.
