FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO FORMAT A FLOPPY DISKETTE
In Windows 95 or 98, follow these steps

Formatting A Floppy Diskette

STEP ONE: Double click on the desktop icon marked "My Computer".

STEP TWO: Insert a floppy diskette into A:
STEP THREE: Right click on the 3½ Floppy (A:) icon and left click on Format.
STEP FOUR: Choose options & click on Start.
